This skill set follows on from the Industrial Sewing Skill Set (MSTSS00015) and includes more complex componentry such as zips, binds and sleeves as well as directional change and handling different fabric weights, providing you with the skills to complete whole garments. You will also learn to use more advanced machinery including buttonhole machines and button sewers. With industry partnerships like South Australian fashion icon R.M.Williams, demand for sewing skills has never been higher. During this course you will get to visit the R.M.Williams facility and be inspired by an R.M.Williams guest speaker with extensive fashion industry experience. For organisations that wish to pay the student fees for this course and are unable to pay by credit card via the website, please contact the Short Course team via email on shortcourses@tafesa.edu.au to organise a Third Party Payment invoice.
